Training (Education)
Students learn data science concepts to produce quality submissions for the IDSOL competition.
- Intensive training: students may join a training program that is endorsed by IDSOL, both teaching the same material, delivered based on the level of the students.
- Extensive coverage: training program covers everything from the fundamental mathematics of data science to applications in real-life examples, and programming modules.
- Flexible scheduling: program intensity and extensivity can be adjusted accordingly to fit the needs, criteria, and constraints of the students' academic institutions.
Please contact us if you are interested to run a certified training or testing program.
Testing (Certification)
Students have an option to earn certifications after completing exams to demonstrate mastery over knowledge and skills in data science. The IDSOL Certification is being reformed and will be re-released by IDSOL 2024, with retroactive issuance to equivalent previous certifications.
Please contact us if you are interested to run a certified training or testing program.
Trying (Capstone Project)
Students are encouraged to produce a capstone project after acquiring knowledge for designing and building data science applications.
- Applying knowledge: students take what they learned from the training to draft a proposal for addressing some real-life challenges with a data science application.
- Mentorship from experts: students apply to be paired with mentors from academia, industry, and government to provide insights and advice for student projects.
- Optional prototype: students may optionally produce a working concept or model.

Trial (Competitions)
For showcasing and improving capstone projects, a plethora of contests provides precious opportunities to prepare for the International Data Science Olympiad.
